Email your MSP to support location neutral recruitment and flexible working across Scotland

Scotland’s public services should be shaped by people from every part of the country. Yet increasing emphasis on Central Belt office attendance and office-based recruitment risks limiting opportunities for people living in rural, island and geographically dispersed communities.

PCS believes talented people should be able to access Scottish Government jobs regardless of where they live. A genuinely location-neutral approach to recruitment and flexible working can help tackle depopulation, strengthen local economies, support disabled workers and unpaid carers, and ensure policymaking benefits from a wider range of experiences and perspectives.

As the current interim policies are under review, now is the time to act and get our voices heard.

Use this e-action to ask your MSP to raise these concerns with the Scottish Government and support fair access to civil service employment for people across all of Scotland.

Take action today by emailing your MSP and calling for recruitment and workplace policies that work for everyone, wherever they live.
