PCS members employed by G4S and OCS on FCDO outsourced contracts are in dispute over pay, terms and conditions. The dispute is a result of the failure of both companies to table a pay offer that lifts members above the Real Living Wage and delivers improvements to terms and conditions, including the introduction of company sick pay.
It is unacceptable that there has been no intervention from FCDO to resolve the dispute on FCDO outsourced contracts. Instead FCDO continue to allow our facilities management colleagues, who deliver vital services to ensure the continued successful delivery of key operations, to be treated like second class citizens.
PCS members call on the Permanent Secretary, Philip Barton, to intervene and deliver an acceptable resolution to the dispute and ensure parity of pay, terms and conditions to our facilities management colleagues.
